MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION WITH THE NETWORK OF BUSINESS INCUBATORS “YEP”

The start-up movement of KNUTE has gained a new impetus for development by joining a large community of academic business clubs.

On October 23, 2018, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Kiev National University of Trade and Economy and the Academic Business Incubator Network “YEP”. The memorandum was signed by the rector, professor Anatoly Antonovich Mazaraki and FOUNDER & CEO YEP Andrew Zaikin.

Anatoly Antonovich thanked the new partners who chose the KNUTE as a platform for such a promising and necessary initiative and emphasized that the implementation of this project can bring high results and provide a number of opportunities for implementing the creative potential of students, ideas and plans for future businessmen. He wished students the success and useful discoveries.

Andriy Zaikin expressed mutual words of gratitude and encouraged students to be brave and not to stop only on the appearance of an interesting idea, but also purposefully implement it. After all, it’s the only one possibility to implement the project. Promising to consider any suggestions and ideas, he encouraged the students to cluster and confidently ask for advice to mentors.

The first vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Pritulska Natalia Volodymyrivna urged all present people to take an advantage of such a unique opportunity and realize the plans, since all necessary conditions have been created for this purpose.

The initiator of the establishment of cooperation is the Department of Economics and Finance of KNTEU.

Within the framework of the signing of the agreement, the presentation of this platform was also held. Andriy Zaikin told students about the mission and specifics of YEP, answered the questions of interested in the development of the entrepreneurial club and the start-up movement students.

Trainings, internships, mentor support and consulting are waiting for students. Provided:

  • an educational incubation program for entrepreneurship for those who are only thinking about starting their own business;
  • Acceleration, which aims to provide financial and expert support, helps teams to reach a new level of development of their products and companies;
  • meetings with start-ups and experts.

 

The main directions of cooperation include the development of the business club of the university with technical and methodological support from the YEP side.
